HELLO WORLD, im back from hectic 3 days of feasting/angbao-ing/visiting/playing/latenights (:
been stuffing myself with ALOT OF FOOD, i swear!
i ate these on CNY EVE.
initially i only wanted the tangyuan but the french toast was so irresistible! look at how huge it is!
of course i didnt finish luh,
the bread turned hard after awhile ):
then i had dinosaur at prata house, again, at 4am -____-
seriously, depressing.
reached home at around 6am on CNY day one.
slept all the way till 2pm, which was NOT ENOUGH.
went over to my dad's aunty house, which is my.. grand-aunty? she's quite young though, stay at some condo in sengkang/punggol area.
i think i only like the putting on of new clothes/shoes plus long car journeys, im not really keen on the mingling and usual questions -__-
YAY!
i was just trying to kill boredom luh.
my mum told me to hurry up but she took like 15 minutes longer than me! -___-
yay yay yay.
the one thing i always do other than smiling at a constant speed + chionging their new yr patries+chocolates+basically FOOOOD when at relatives' house is:
ANSWER THEIR NEVER ENDING QUESTIONS N NOD AT WHATEVER CLICHE THING U'D EXPECT TO HEAR.
things like:
"aiyo~ one year never see, grew taller/fatter/skinnier/handsomer/prettier etc already uhhhh"
"now studying ah?"
"got boyf or not?"
"study good uh. study more. go overseas study."
"must listen to your parents uh."
"come luh, eat more eat more."
& the most ridiculous thing was some relative whom i dont know the exact connection told me:
"eh, wa eh kia jin jiat ho eh, gin ni na le tak NUS, yi ma si bo cha bor peng you leh!"
(eh my son very good eh, this year studying NUS, he also no girlf!)
wah lao eh?
though the connection like not very near but still!
to me it's kind of 'incest'. hahaha!
next was to toa payoh,
a one-room flat, see the contrast?
my mood was quite bad because a moment i see one side indulging in all the nonsense Wii & Guitar Hero shit (the worse thing was they PROUDLY BOASTED to us about their ridiculous way of spending money on such things), the other moment i see an 85 yr old lady sitting right beside me holding my hand telling me being filial and studying hard is the most impt thing in life.
she's none other than my ah ma's older sister, someone i love very very much.
i think every yr, her place is the only one i look forward to going (okay i look forward to my ah ma's place too cos of the FOOD and gambling :X).
every yr i go, i pray that i'd still see her laugh happily when ppl visit her (nowadays many ppl dont fancy going to a one room flat), still receive her ang bao, still talk to her even though i dont really understand teochew.
well, hope she's healthy every year and live till hundred plus plus plus :D
went over to meet up friends.
go around visiting ppl's house then headed to play pool.
then they tortured me by asking to watch them play command&conquer!
seriously i think such warcraft games like DOTA, WOW & command&conquer are the worse games ever! :X
then the lan shop had some sissyboys who kept yelling expletives, damn irritating can, voice havent even break yet -____-
ZOMG I ATE A MCCHICKEN MEAL AT 4 IN THE MORNING, thats not all!
I FINISHED THE DAMN MEAL ):
reached home at around 6am, AGAIN :X
then slept, woke up at 11 plus today.
prepared to go ah ma's house!
i purposely chose this dress to wear over to ah ma's house, because i dont wanna wear red, and i cant wear my usual black and white, so GOLD! :D
and it's very comfy (:
then my shoes!
